As a participant or supporter of the 5th IWG World Conference on Women and Sport earlier this year, Patrizia Torelli invites you to contribute relevant data for the Sydney Scoreboard.
The Sydney Scoreboard is the legacy of the 5th IWG World Conference on Women and Sport, held in Sydney, Australia in May 2010.
The Sydney Scoreboard operates as a powerful online tool through which the number of women in leadership roles within national sport organisations can be tracked both nationally and internationally.
In the first round of data collection, Sydney Scoreboard are seeking information relating to women in leadership roles within National Sport Organisations around the world. A national sport organisation for the purposes of the Sydney Scoreboard is the organisation recognised by government and the majority of playing participants as the national representative for that sport eg: Bowls Australia.
In order to make this site meaningful and truly global, Sydney Scoreboard invite contribution of data for the Sydney Scoreboard from national sporting organisations and/or country by using the online form .
The basic information we are seeking is:
The online form is very simple and easy to complete. It contains further descriptions and definitions related to the data collection. The form is designed to take data for one national sport organisation at a time. Should you have data for many national sport organisations within your country please e-mail the data in a spreadsheet directly to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange for inclusion. A sample template for data collection can be downloaded here. Please be sure to include information for each of the required fields.
The Sydney Scoreboard will be launched in December 2010 so please enter your data as soon as possible. Don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of it. Please feel free to forward this message to your relevant contacts so they too can submit their data. Please note that no personal contact information will be displayed on the scoreboard site.
The form is currently available online at www.sydneyscoreboard.com which will be the home of the Sydney Scoreboard once launched.
If you have any queries about the online form or the Sydney Scoreboard please contact Sally Ryan, Project Manager, email@example.com.
