After five years as Festival Director of L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival I am excited to be joining Patrizia Torelli and the BalletLab Board as its newest member.
I am so thrilled to be part of this exciting company. I am passionate in showcasing Melbourne as an epicentre of innovation and style, qualities that are so evident in BalletLab. I am keen to add to the already expert Board of BalletLab. I hope my understanding of dissemination of creative thinking within the public arena, public engagement, non traditional marketing and importantly income generation will enable but also respect the integrity of the creative process that currently exists in Phillip Adams’ dynamic company.
My experience prior to working at the Fashion Festival as Australian representative for Paris based forecasting organisation; Studio Edelkoort, publishers of trend information under the company ‘Trend Union’ and created the publications ‘View on Colour’, ‘Interior View’ and ‘Bloom’ I hope will add-value to the future direction of BalletLab. Fusing my passions for creative collaborations, cultural forecasting, consumer analysis, strategic design concepts and community engagement will be my contribution to showcasing the brilliance of BalletLab to a broader audience.
Our recent Strategic Planning day, facilitated by Patrizia, demonstrates the professionalism and expertise within the company so I am confident the future will be sensational. It’s not an everyday occurrence to be able to collaborate so closely with pure creative genius and be so intrinsically linked to the experimental process of creating a global legacy.
